Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from our first session?

I encourage you to view our first session as a no-strings-attached consultation. We will continue our conversation from the phone so that I can more fully understand the unique concerns that bring you in, and the larger context in which they are occurring. You will have a sense of what it is like to meet with me and how I can be of service. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have at that time about the way I work. If it seems like we are a good fit, then we will proceed with scheduling a weekly appointment.

How does payment work?

I will send you an invoice and payment link at the end of the month. If you prefer to pay in euros I use Wise. If you prefer to pay in USD I use PayPal or Zelle.

Do you accept insurance?

While I am not currently accepting Dutch health insurance, you may be able to get reimbursed from an international or student health insurance provider. If you have a New York State address with out-of-network coverage you may be able to get reimbursement.

What is your cancelation policy?

If you need to change your appointment time and provide sufficient notice, I will do my best to accommodate, with no additional charge. However, full payment of session is required if less than 48 hours of notice is given for a reschedule or cancelation.
